You need to know what dental treatment costs.

We offer you the choice of 2 alternatives:

1. the Lawrence & Pinkerton Dental Plan (Adult and Children's versions)

or

2. the treatment fee guide below

We are upfront about our costs, and will always quote for any treatment we discuss. However, as a guide, our fees structure is as follows (please click here for a print version of our treatment costs):-

We wish to continue offering a very high standard of care to our patients and have developed a private Dental Plan that encompasses these aims at a reasonable monthly fee.

The Lawrence & Pinkerton Dental Plan (for adults) will offer:

  • 6 monthly examination (2 examinations per year)

  • 2 hygienist visits per year

  • all routine radiographs

  • 20% discount off treatment fees

  • 10% discount off laboratory fees and Cerec restorations

  • Worldwide Dental Insurance cover

The cost is £18.10 per month (direct debit)

Existing patients of the practice do not need to be dentally fit to register and there is no “joining fee”. You can register right away and enjoy the peace of mind afforded by our scheme.
New patients will need any initial work completing before being eligible to join the Plan.

The Lawrence & Pinkerton Dental Plan (for under 18's) will offer:

Regular examination £40 This includes screening for any signs of potential breakdowns in dental health, or early damage or decay. Preventive advice. Identification of repairs/ restorations/ reconstructions required. Monitoring of any changes in teeth, gums, roots of teeth, bones, mouth tissues, supporting structures.
Regular hygienist visit with Dental Hygienist £48 Specific monitoring of health of gums, and control of plaque. Preventive advice. Plaque control advice. Removal of hard plaque (calculus). Polishing of teeth.
Radiographs   Radiographs (x-rays) are necessary to see what is happening under, between or inside teeth, to check the health of bones, to identify cavities we can not see from the tooth surface. Our radiographic equipment, in it's own lead lined area, produces high quality radiographs that are digitised and can be shown to patients on a computer screen in the surgeries.
    One £22
    Two £30
Fillings from £95

We prefer to offer non metal fillings where possible such as CEREC.
However, there are some situations where silver amalgam is necessary, and we will always discuss the options with you.

Crowns from £500 We offer CEREC ceramic crowns although some circumstances may require gold or other materials.
CEREC Ceramic Restorations from £475 CEREC ceramic material is very strong, involves minimal removal of healthy tooth and is more compatible with tooth structure than metals.
Whitening   £450 An easy non destructive method of whitening your teeth.
Extractions from £100 We try to avoid this treatment - as we believe in saving teeth. It can also be more costly to replace a missing tooth than to treat it! However, if necessary we ensure the patient is as comfortable as possible during the procedure, and that we use the absolute best techniques.
